dont forget you can use the phone network wireless air card to link to the net while riding. then a person can from the remote location adjust while you ride.
just make sure you are in a area that has good signal always. note on the fuel maps in ecmspy you dont have to toggle the switch between burns. all other data you do. so you never loose connection. tim and I did that once if I remember correctly. I have sent my bike out that way and at the track. full wireless back to the pit. the power of the air card. wired or wireless. mike |

you can use Rf chips also. the low cost 5.99 transceiver chips will do the trick. no firmware needed on the bike side.
Tim: A good remote server is www.teamviewer.com. just get the noncommercial version. it's free... from there use the new 4 g network. poof your in. plus the fuel maps can be changed without the toggle on the run switch. this works with ecmspy only. ecmread you need to toggle. you can even use this to teach others the basics on pretty much anything. even share files directly. | Does the initial post only work if your computer is blue tooth capable? Or does the transmitter work as a wireless network basically? | |
