Passed the salvage inspection at the DMV. Should have a new title inside of 2 weeks.
Also ordered a new muffler clamp from west marine - noticed my front one had broken on one of the test rides. Going through it in the next couple of days and checking/securing all the fasteners. Also placing a large order with American Sport Bike in the next few days - now that she's passed her inspection, I can start some of the mods I want. Planning on DDM Tuning headlight upgrade, heated grips, GPS mount, and a few other goodies. |

| Its been a long time waiting do to work, but went to Home Depot and bought me a good heater and set my sites on my work shop. Finally finished the chain drive swap on my 03 XB9R. 520 RK xring chain with a vortex sprocket. Installed frame pucks and 5-0 Dro sliders. Also installed the RSS. Now In progress is the tail swap from a bolt to a lightening. Throwing down some primer coats today on the rails and rear light housing. May get finished with them and do some wet sanding. Pictures to come when all is complete. | |
