and I found the square center seal to be the culprit of the oil leak
front is done next is the rear
all done ready for another 125000 km of pleasure
ok today I've decided to start working on the rear head oil leak by lowering the engine and removing the front head covers :D
it's a 125000 km motor and it's the first time I'm doing this
I've noticed that the bolts have loctite, but the manual says nothing about it, so, should I fit the bolts with loctite? are the torque settings on the manual are ok for loctite?

I've never used loctite on those to answer your question.
OK thanks,
I did, despite the fact the manual said nothing about it, just because there was loctite prior, and as this is the first time this as been done to her, it was there from new
not that I'm thinking on doing this any time soon, but next time I may not use it, I'm not a big fan of loctite, I've had some "mishaps" because of it
