Anyone of you using Icon?
I have Timax II leather jacket, 3 pants (denim, camo + ARC), Field Armour vest and boots, Timax gloves, a bunch of Tee's and sweaters.
I just realized that the boots are very freaking clumsy. I use to ride Daytona boots. The Field Armour look like feature soldier boots vs skiing boot. Absolutely - kick ass cool!
But hey, do they steal space. What an awkward position when gearing. The thickness of this are not to fool around with. Look like something made for killing or serious violence!
For the ARC pant, they say if you wear commando style (nothing under), buy one size under what you use. That is, if you use size 30, buy 28.
That is not a wise recommendation. I did do like that and they were too small. If you use 30, buy 30. They fit both commando style and with Icon denim or camo pants under. I wonder how the helmets are (talkig fit and size)? I use AGV Titech. It looks like a perfect match with the Timax II leather jacket + gloves.

What's your opinion?

Here's my Icon "hat" except I added the dark tinted faceshield, very sharp in my opinion.  The helmet sizes seem to run a slight bit small to me.  But everyone has different head shapes, facial structure, etc.  In my experience the Mainframe was a little on the large side.  Best thing you can do is try them on before buying, get one that fits snugly, kinda grabs the skin on your face, cheeks, forehead, etc.  It'll stretch some over time as you sweat and wear it.

A friend here at work has the Timax jacket and other gear......he swears by it.  All I know is that I've been happy with my Icon gear so far.

I have the ICON Strongarm 13 jacket, works great for me, has a liner you can take out for when it gets too hot outside and it also has a couple zippers in the upper chest/back areas that open it up for a nice light breeze.

I use the Stronarm pants for riding, as well as the Mil-Spec vest for getting into Pendelton. Top quality stuff.

I also wear the Timax II in the Blue and black. But its mesh, not leather. Black leather Icon Pursuit gloves. flat black Icon Alliance SS helmet. Iv really been thinking of picking up the field armor knee pads cuzz I hate the look of riding pants that have knee pucks. Icon is by far the best gear iv worn, im glad to know i have flexible titanium between myself and the pavement.

My only complain is the Mandrin cut in the neck of the jacket..it kinda funnels wind down the front of my chest. My jacket is one size too big to accomodate thermal long sleeve and zip in liner tho.

I have the Tarmac stealth mesh jacket, the Retro Daytona (Black) Leather and the ARC mesh pants. I love the fit and feel of the Icon stuff plus I get the gear at cost . The pants work great and hold up. I wrecked while wearing the leather jacket and slid on the pavement about 10 feet and all it did was scuff the black off the leather in a few spots. Then the paramedics cut the jacket off . I just took it to a leather shop and they sewed It back together.

My previous order i had to return, due to size issues.  I had to pay taxes for the first package which went in return. Also i payed taxes for the new package, with same stuff but other sizes.
Now this mean i was dubble taxed. Just the return package was $120 in tax. The new package with same stuff costed same tax. All in all i have payed as much in tax as the goods cost. That is up in EU's most northern country. Goverment do apply legal theft and they are fucked up to negotiate with. They require so much papers and once a mistake has happened it is impossible to get rectification.
Rebellion Union, where's it at - i move!
In my mind, goverments vote for ideals made to incorporate hate

I have the field armor boots. They are big but they look so badass. I had to move my shifter up a good bit and even then they still took some getting used to, not bad now though

06xb9r,... yes they will take some time getting used to. Did however do a new demo today (Motor Morini Corsaro 1200), so i took ny previous Daytona boots. These suckers are way better when driving. talking about ability to handle the gear pedal it's like night and day. I like the Icon stuff, who doesn't? But the field armour are more pose than function - so it is!
Heck, maybe i tuck down my pants inside the neck of them, going to the bar with bad ass attitude. That will work, won't it

So a new complaint with my Icon Timax2 Jacket. Now that its getting cold I have the liner zipped into it, and....It zips into the inside with no velcro patch or anything to cover the zipper soo...Cold ass wind in a line down the middle of your chest....ontop of my earlier post about the mandrin wind tunnel of a neck makes this a chilly winter jacket.

Never have. I've always used Shoei helmets. current one is the Miguel Duhamel model with the dragon on it, from a few years back.. as for jacket i'm wearing the Black Buell jacket i got at the dealer when i bought my bike. before that was wearing either Yamaha factory or Joe rocket yamaha jackets.
And I have rocket gloves too, though it's time for a new pair, i'm starting to get rips in the ends of the fingers
