Hello, I have been reading this site for a few months, and I have grown extremely interested in buell xb12s and xb9 lightning models... I currently own a 2005 yamaha r1 and a 1997 honda f3. It is so hard to find a decent used Buell around here in northwest florida. But, yeah I am so addicted to the look and sound of buell lightnings its ridiculous, and my father likes buells more than sportbikes cause hes got a screamin eagle 2008 roadking.. pretty much been a harley guy since before I was even born. What I noticed about this forum is everybody is a lot nicer than other forums but this forum is lacking in members so I hope that with more members joining later it won't turn into a hate-fest. anyway enough with rambling im a little drunk but I am going to attempt to post pics of my bikes that I hope to sell soon to have a buell!! one of the truck and one of the old honda (my first bike) edit: corrected picture link

Welcome! You are right, there are LOTS of good people on here with lots of good info. I don't think this site will ever get to be a hate fest. Where in Florida are you? I am in Orlando! Have you looked on Craigslist in Jacksonville or Tallahassee?  When I was looking, I found a few 1200 Lightnings up in Jax., but ended up in Tampa Bay where I got mine. Good Luck and Welcome!

Yeah i'll check.. I'm real picky though, I would want a black on black look ... My parents live in panama city, and I live in pensacola with my girlfriend going to school at University of West Florida thanks

Just as a reminder, we have free image hosting on Buellxb.com. Once you're logged in, just go to 'Your Photos' at the top by the search. From there you can browse and upload photos. Once you've uploaded your photos you can add them to a post by clicking the link 'Add Your Photo' just above the message box. Your images hosted on Buellxb.com will not expire like they do on photobucket or similar image hosting providers.
