I went and got 2 of these Buell/KBC Magnum helmets when GRHarley.com had them on sale at $59. Got a set of size small pads and my 6yo son wears one of them when he's riding on the back of "Daddy's Racing Motorcycle"
Kids are great!

+1 lexatv on the Scorpion Exo 1000, I have one so comfortable with the air inflate check pads, not noisy, the tinted inner sun visor comes in very handy .well vented for cool air flow in the summer heat and close them in the cold and no cold air gets in unless you want it to , never fogs up.![]()

I went with the Icon Domain Decay. Pretty happy with the looks, just gotta wait for the weather to break to try it out.

| hey..... those of you that have ICON helmets..... has anyone had an issue witht eh visor blowing open on you when you check your blind spots? I was told by a sales rep at Cyclegear (local shop) that they are pretty notorious for that.... | |

| I've got an Airframe and I've never had it blow open without the pin locked. But yes, with the pin lock, I have a hard time just opening it at lights. | |

I have the Bell Apex - Ripper Red. nice helmet, fits well, some noise issues. if it's not square you can hardle hear the bike. the kevlar does make it light and has good ventilation no real fogging issues even on colder days.
i would get another one maybe the reactor color. anyone have some good feedback on helmets with low wind noise? |

What's wrong with the X30? I have the Nexx X30 and am happy with it. It's one of those cool looking European Helmets nobody seems to be able to get stateside... until now. My biggest issue with it happens when stopped or at low speed. The visor is permanently attached to the front fairing, so if you need to defog or get some fresh air, you'll need to crack open or rotate the front of the helmet. I love the rest of it. How about ZERO windnoise at highway speeds (slight with the nose vent open), again, thanks to the permanent faceshield. I am able to hear the engine, tranny, road and cars around me. The built in shades completely cammouflages my face from the outside world. A quick locking strap can be donned with gloves on... it's that simple. I have the Orange/Black one and it draws lots of looks... maybe they think I'm the Orange Power Ranger? Anyways, I purchased a second one, plain flat black in size XL and it still sits in the box, still in the protective bag with the tags attached. I haven't worn it since my original intention was to have it sprayed to match the markings of the F117 Stealth Fighter, only to learn that the surface of the helmet won't allow paint to stick or harden enough to keep it from cracking. The project went dead on arrival.
Revzilla has them for 349.00 with free shipping Here's a YouTube Video Review PM me if you're interested. I'm willing to let it go for $250 shipped to you... |

| Wow, what a difference from the Suzuki forums...where the helmet threads all read Arai, Shoei, Suomy....over and over. Nice to see so many different choices on here. | |
