hey guys and lovely gals, I was looking around for other american motorcycle manufacturers, since I as well as a lot of you guys are pretty much DONE with hardly, and thought hmm, the next oldest manufacturer is Indian, and you don't see those everywhere, so I went on their website and they want $27,000 for a blacked out bike!!!! WTF! do they want to die out again? no wonder there aren't many Indians around.

A 650 v-twin huh? I hope yellow isn't my only option!
Posted:  05 Jan 2010 19:16 [?]
She might be more fun to ride!

Looks nice, but in the words of Tim the Tool Man Taylor,  NEEDS MORE POWER!

I think 80 HP out of a 650 V twin (actually a 90 degree) is respectable. that's probably what I get out of my 984.

You know it might not be a bad idea. I looks good, and it handles like an agressive sport bike, but it has no unpedictable HP. Its made for the street not the track. Its more realistic then a 165 hp crotch rocket. Im sure its fun to ride. The price reflects its power. It might also be more resonable on insurence. dont get me wrong. I love my firebolt. Im just tring to find the good in it. Support your American bike manufactures. It would be nice to have another bike out there that my firebolt can overtake.

All the fenders for the 1999-2003 Chiefs were made in my dads shop. I had my hands on almost every fender. As I recall the price for those was $22,000

NO NO NO! to the Fischer STAY  AWAY!

I saw one of these at the MOTO GP in Indy this summer and it is GARBAGE! From thirty feet it looks ok, but you get close and you can see the god awful craftsmanship. ie Grinder marks from the factory in the swing arm, plastics not fitting properly, the list goes on and on...   Besides, this bike is chinese or korean... Hyosung motors if I remember right..... I will have to check into that though.

Damn. Thought there might have been some hope.

I'm all about American (or any other) if they're well made, absolutely!
You gotta check out the link, obviously they're excited, but there's alot of hype.

I will still ride the girl! Or does her swing arms have grinder marks?

to agfish, ugh! ugh! ugh! (taylor grunt) I love that show.

to dave, that is pretty freaking sweet, I pesonally love the look of the indian fenders, they definitely stand out more than those of HD.

about the fischer, it look kinda cool i guess but it seems to be lacking a lot in the power department.

hmmmm, kinda reminds me of the crappy ATV's and dirtbikes they sell at Canadian Tire....
Hyosung is South Korean for really cheap shit!

i wonder i hardley will buy them just to shut them down too? its a shame to this country that we do not have a true sport bike like the rest of the world.just look at all the money lost for every 4 cly sportbike you see.i owned kawasaki's all my life and always wanted a american made bike.but i love the speed, sound, and looks of a crotch rocket.im not a fan of hd ,all their big heavy, loud, slow bikes all look the same,i rode a lot of them and do not understand their popularity and price.i get upset when freinds say my xb12r is a hd.its a buell and they or someone like eric buell should be making more like them.i love the bolt but i probley will be buying another kawi in the future..unless someone makes a true sportbike in the usa.

They both look really good but I'm not sure which would cost more in the long run. I am pretty sure she would drain ur bank account.

Nothing excites me like a Buell. Not even my first dream bike (Ducati 1098)
Posted:  06 Jan 2010 21:29 [?]
Benelli excites me almost like a Buell... ALMOST!
Posted:  07 Jan 2010 00:10 [?]
i was thinking ducati 996 or mv agusta.but i rhode them all and the buell felt the best for me.i also wanted to get away from the jap bikes they are the bast but just too many and no made in america pride.guess we no longer have that option.
