I have an '03 XB9R as well...do yourself a favor, invest in some '04+ mirrors.  Unless you have the shoulders of a sixth grade cheerleader, you will be able to see MUCH better with those.  And, they're only twenty bucks each.  Also, have you had any problems riding without the belt gaurds?  I was considering doing that as well.  Where did you get those bar-ends?

the bar ends are sold at your local dealership for 15$http://www.buellxb.com/buell_images/532_20071215114959_L.jpg

Scobbie,

Thanks for the heads up on the mirriors. I have wide shoulders I basicly look under my elbows to see behind me. So I'll check them out. As far as the Bar ends go buell007 is correct I have seen them at a few differn't bike shops. Also I haven't had any problems with the belt gaurd off. Lets hope I didn't just jinx myself.lol

The mirrors are a definate plus!  My only problem at first was that I thought they would be too long and look goofy hanging off of the fairing, but they angle down a bit after the apex of the arm, and they look better than the shorties, in my opinion.  And thanks for the feedback on the gaurds...I hate the way they look...they take away from that nice shiny swingarm...I'll probably be yanking those off in the near future.  We're they a total pain in the ass to remove?

There not that bad to remove. Not sure about newer models. It was awhile ago when I removed it. But It took about maybe 20 min tops.
