Hey, it was very nice meeting you two...thanks for helping me out with my decision on "which pipe?" Very helpful to be able to listen to all of them there, and I like the fact that the valve still works. What a weekend!!!
P.S. Speaking of the Ducati/Buell bike I have his card as he will start producing these parts. The copper and black bike next to it had a 240 rear tire in the stock swingarm. That too will end up in there offerings...
Again, it was nice to meet you, as well as all the fellow Buellers, for those of you who missed....don't miss the next one, you won't be sorry

Hey if you know this Ducati/Buell guy is there anyway to get him on the forum to discuss some of these custom mods? That bike is pretty sweet. I am really interested in the tail conversion and the headlight setup.

I met and talked with him and got his business card. Below is a link to their website. They brought 2 customs to the homecoming but only to Road America as they also brought at least 1 race bike. It was an 03 XB9R serial #oooo1. They are definately hardcore Buellers.

Sorry but I don't think that was me you talked to. I myself am try to which aftermarket exhaust to use so I have no advice on that for anyone else. I did see 2 XB's on a trailer with Alabama tags that read "HIS XB" and "HER XB". Maybe it was them that you talked to. But yes it was a very good time indeed and we plan on going every year.

The Buell/Ducati was featured in a bike mag along with another absolutely outragous Buell. Unfortunatly I don't recall the name as it was a new mag(to me). Guess i'll just have to ride over to Borders again

The guy told me at homecoming that is was to be featured in Two Wheel Tuner magazine. That one's hard to find around here but I've been looking for it.

Yes Bikes are in Two Wheel Tuner mag...
LeFox...The swing arm is a triumph unit mounted upside down, and heavly modified i'm sure...
BadS1...I have pics of your bike at "Da Grove" as well. That thing is sick
That was an awesome weekend all the way around!!! Thanks for your part in making it spectacular. Had a great time at the boiler room. Will be shooting up there again soon, after one of the shoot-out nights at the track. For those of you who missed...plan on next year, dollar for dollar the best time you will have, grins, laughing, informative, comeradery, great times all weekend. P.S. Didn't spend alot of dollars either

Thanks and I'm trying to get Erik and the band back for next year. I'll be at the shootout on the 25th. Erik plays at the Grove that day at 1pm. As far aS my bike. I'm working on a 240 kit for it right now. It'll be done this winter. You'll see that at Homecoming.

Its mellow deep tone but deep and gets louder as your on the gas. If you have heard the original drummer it sound about the same.

for 2008 it will be 4th of July weekend. There will be events at the factory in East Troy, Wisconsin, Summerfest (huge music festival)in Milwaukee, and at Road America in Elkart Lake, WI plus more. This year being their 25th anniversery it will be huge. You will definately enjoy it. Check Buells website for details and updates.
