I must mention that this is the sickest lightning I've ever seen to date. IMO It's not overdone, stealthy, clean & mean...

typeone, got 1 Q for you.
the oberon footpegs, did you get a spring mounted for them aswell?
i've made a testrun with those footpegs but they were mounted without a spring to keep them in their position.
it was a pain, since when i opened the throttle, the peg was pushed inwards and i had nowhere to place my foot.

LeFox, i've used the stock springs, pins and clips for all three sets of pegs i've tried (S/R/Oberon).

Hey Typeone.
How did you fix the gas mask to the bike?? Was there much of a mod to do to fit it over the lights??
Thats a hell of a mod for the bike, now it looks like it means business.
Cheers
Justin

HOVERJOCKI, just took my time cutting and fitting. quite a bit of material got cut away. the masks eyelets are much smaller than the Buell lights and have heavy duty plastic lenses. all that needed to be removed. along with the cannister and a bunch of interior rubber.. .

ctrucky, not sure which site you mean but... the tail that was linked to on Speed-Of-Color that is similar to mine is $417US and the 'Euro' tail is $534US. need to tack on more for shipping, i think i paid around $50 or so for shipping to US.

no one in the US sells them, that i know of. only other shop you could try is Adrenaline-Moto in the UK. they now sell the Frank-Parts (Germany) spacers for $167US + shipping.

Wasn't able to find a u.s. supplier. surprise surprise! if you want anything for a buell it seems like you have to buy it over seas! How long did it take to get to your house? Also how hard was the install of the lift? Was the stock seat a pain to put back on? thanks for all your help

Man, I love the looks of this bike. I live in Switzerland, so I thought the Mecca for custom Buell parts would be the U.S. (it WOULD make sense, after all). Imagine my happiness when I found that you guys shop over 'ere in good ol' Europe.
I will pick up my Buell XB12S tomorrow, pics to follow

Tzippria, is there something I'm missing about the CG? Why would you buy the CG and then raise it?
