Up for sale is a lightly used '05 Buell XB12Scg. This is the red and gold color combination. The bike is absolutely flawless, new condition with only 1000 miles. The Scg model sits about an inch lower than the other models which is nice for shorter riders. I loved it because I needed to be flat footed on the ground to be confident with ladies on back. This bike is the corvette of motorcycles. Lots of torque and horsepower. I'm selling it because I have to get a new truck for work, and I can't afford the payments on both. I'm selling this low mile bike for $6,100.00 OBO (Revised). The location of the bike is in Carmel, Indiana. Email for more info or to make an offer: jeremyrde@yahoo.com

No it's not the exact motorcycle, but my Buell looks identical. It's the same model, year, and color.

How tall are you? I am 5'11" and I have been wondering about the SG models. Seems like the closer to the ground when carving, the better it would be, but I don't want my knees to be up around my ears.
(good looking bike btw.)

I'm 5'8" tall. If I was 5'9" tall I would not buy the Scg. It's short, and absolutely perfect for me. Almost seems custom made. I would stick with the regular model if I were you.

Definitely buy the standard Buell XB12S. Due to the seat on the CG you would be cramped up in the cockpit.

Is this Lighting still for sale? Also is the seat the only difference between a Scg model and the standard S model, or does it have something to do with the subframe as well?

I will accept any reasonable offer for this Buell Lightning XB12Scg. My property taxes just went up by $700/mo and I just can't afford to keep it. My loss, your gain. I will have to get another Buell sometime in the future when my finances are better. I still love this bike and I will ride nothing but Buells. Helmet included.

Here is another picture. This bike looks brand new. Tires and all. I will try to get more pictures up when I get some time. If anything this Buell has been over-serviced. It does not burn rich or lean.

Time has gone by with no takers. Now I have my truck and my motivation has changed to wanting a new 1125r. I have added a few miles, now I'm up to just over 1200.
I will throw in a brand new Jardine exhaust pipe (un-installed), custom seat in addition to the factory seat, extra rider pegs and a new tail bag. I have added some carbon fiber and the front fender will be changed to carbon fiber before anyone buys this bike. I will take $6100.00 or best offer.
Call 317-294-3803 for serious inquiries. I won't ship the bike, so only contact me if you are willing to come pick up the bike. Thanks.
This is the latest photo of the Buell.

Property up $700/mo! I'd move before I got rid of my Buell. But then again if you're eyeing an 1125R.....
I finally got a chance to check one out and it is definitely my next Buell.

I'm going to hang onto the helmet until the bike is sold. I love that helmet and I will probably buy another ICON to go with the 1125R if I can find any takers.
I actually added a select seat since that picture. It's way more comfortable and looks pretty cool.

Wow, if I could just sell my SuperHawk and find an extra grand I'd be over. Nice bike and good luck with the sale. If you want to trade for a SuperHawk let me know.

I have a guy coming to pick up the bike on Sunday from New York, so I guess it is unofficially sold. I will let everyone know if the deal falls through for some reason. Here is the latest picture.
