These are some killer asking prices. It doesn't seem like you'd have much room to allow for negotiating unless the bikes are hot. That first Scg looks killer, only 180 miles??? Who would buy a bike just to sell it 180 miles later. If I didn't already have a nice Buell that XB12Scg would be SOLD!   Is it too much to have two buells?

I figure there is no reason to ask the moon only to come down to the realistic value anyway.  Why stop at 2 Buells, everyone should have at least 3 and I know where you can get them!

I am currently riding a metric sport/touring bike, but looking at buells. I have test ridden the XB12Ss and the XB9 (2007 models), but there was not an XB12S available to try. I have been told that there is a very noticable difference in the S and the SS, and that the 2inch difference does come into play when carving twisties. (In addition to the mass centralization) I have also been told that the SS is more stable in the curves.(An obvious contradiction to the previous statement) Wasn't really able to prove/disprove anything, as there were very few curves in the test area, and so many cages most of my time was spent just trying to survive the trip. What input can you give me? I am 5'11" and wondering if the SG would be a good ride for me. Didn't care for the 9, seat was too high for the short wheelbase. Felt like I was about to trip over myself. Did like the torque, though. And the extra 500 rpm ceiling. Bottom line, I want to ride in curves, I want to lean so far my shoulders drag, but it has got to be a stable, predictable, fun ride. Don't have the time or $$$ to waste adding, modding,  etc, etc, etc. The firebolt doesn't appeal to me as its just a lightning with lower bars and a faring, definitely not worth the extra money the insurance company would charge when they heard the "R" in the name. (you know they are oblivious to the fact that it is the same engine, same torque, same power, etc. to them, R means racing, period.
Forgive my longwinded disertation, but I plan to keep my next bike for a long time. Its got to be the right one.
Thanks for any input you are willing to give me.
PS I like the black XB12S, but would want it with red wheels/trim.
