For Sale 2004 Buell Lightning XB12S 5,491 miles Runs great, shifts smooth, never laid down or raced. Oil changes every 1500 miles. This is a great bike and I am sad to get rid of her. I just finished all the body work and paint. I am selling due to the fact that my wife is thinking of getting her motorcycle license. I would feel safer if instead of her getting her own bike, I could get a larger bike and we can ride together on one. FLAT BLACK Mods: -Removed emblems and reflectors -Repainted all plastics  -XB12R Upper Triple Tree w/ clip-ons -Modified headlight/windscreen mount -Custom gauge face -Acrebis headlight with modded windscreen and turn signals -Gemo fighters tail molded into the stock airbox -Aluminum subframe painted frame color -Custom seat -Speed triple clear taillight with led turns -Painted heel guards -Cut out side pulley cover -CRG mirror -Polished lip on Stock Rear Pulley -Frame Pucks -Wheels painted gloss black with red stripe -Ceramic Coated Header wrapped in black header wrap -Buell Race Exhaust (polished) -Buell Race ECM -K&N Air Filter -Open Airbox -Tires have been recently replaced (Dunlops) I am sure I forgot a few others. Ever do any work for others for $?  I could use someone who knows what they are doing to help wrap my headers.  Also that triple tree mod look beyond my capabilities.  I know my limits.  Just throwing it out there.

Wow! Bike looks really good. If I had some extra cash, I'd get this one in a heartbeat. But I'm waiting for the the new 2009 XB12scg. Good luck man.
