Hello fellow Buellers. I have a complete set of 08 black 1125R plastic I was going to put on Ebay but thought I would give my brothers and sisters on XB first shot. The plastic came off a new bike on the showroom floor that got a limited plastic set. I was up till 3 am looking for another set on the net to gauge price but I could not find another complete set anywhere. So here ya go, I'm just looking for the most offered. Thanks

Hey Triple7,
Do you know if the 1125 airbox cover will fit the XB9SXCity? I have a Cherry Bomb Red City but really want the black. Do you have an idea of what you will take for your stuff? I assume you won't break the set? Thanks and good luck. |

| Since 1125R is totally diff than the XB, I think the only thing in this set that would fit would be the air box cover. Maybe the fromt fender too. I was offered $250, but I know to buy the kit from a dealer its over $1000, if you could find a complete kit. I haven't been able to and the way all the other Buell stuff is going you might not be able to find one. Thats why I'm selling it, I really don't want to but I want the custom seat + touring passenger pillion and some saddle bags, tank bag and I'm worried I wont ever be able to get that stuff before to long, if I'm not to late already. With prices so unpredictable on Buell stuff right now I dont know what to expect. Some stuff is being blown out and some stuff is commanding higher prices because of supply being next to nothing and demand so high. So, I'm just open to whatever comes. I was gonna put it on ebay but I thought I would offer it to my fellow XB.net brothers and sisters first. Thanks | |

| I wouldn't let it go for anything less than $450. Some dude with a red CR will want that stuff for sure. | |

| Thanks Dave!! Some guy tried to tell me I should take the $250 cuz thats about 1/2 of what it sells for new. But a dealer told me a grand if I was lucky enough to even find one right now. I dont know who to believe. All I know is finding Buell parts right now is a nightmare. Everytime I look on Buellparts.net another part is missing from their lineup! I'm starting to get depressed. I want those seats and bags bad. Anyway, thanks for your encouragement. | |

If you're in no hurry to sell, don't take the 250. Hell I have an S, and would pay 250 to take what I wanted and ebay the rest.
Be patient. |

| Lol, probably not, they are the one things I don't like about the 1125's. Maybe do some modding on them to convert them into a sort of saddlebag system. | |

| Your right, On the cr to pods are overwhelming, but on the r the fairing blends them in alot nicer. | |

I guess it is just personal preference because I like the pods on my CR. Actually, I like everything about my CR, well, except the head shake at 130+ mph because there is no real front fairing.
Good luck on the sale of your plastics...and good luck to Red93stang in buying them. |

| I just checked with the dealer and its not $1000 or over to get a plastic set. Its actually $870.84 for a set of Black 2010 plastic. 2009 stuff with no stickers even cheaper. | |

Well there you go, $870 + $80 for decals + $60 for the windscreen =$1010.00. But that isnt what I'm asking for. Highest bidder?
By the way I got estimates for shipping - 2 boxes both 12 lbs, 1 is 30x24x12, the other is 32x18x12. I'm in montana. ship to missouri on ups ground is $17.64 each, or regular u.s. mail $16.94 each.hope that helps |

| I wasnt trying to say u were wrong triple. The $870.84 was a plastic set for a 2010 black plastic with decals. When I talked to the dealer to price the 08-09 plastic like you have. It was about 100 bucks less. But, I was just letting people know what it costs to convert one to black or whatever. It wasnt meant to poke at you and my appoligies if you took it that way. | |

Red93stang, no problem, thank you so much for your help and interest. Here are the pics I told you about. I found a scuff on top of the airbox, a scuff on the right side of the fairing by the mirror mount and the front by the windscreen holes. Let me know what you think. ![]() ![]()

| Hey Red93stang, Got it shipped. HERE IS A WARNING TO ALL SHIPPING UPS!!!!. http://www.ups.com/content/us/en/index.jsx This site has a quick postage calculator to estimate postage. IT IS A LIE!!! That site quick estimated my packages to be $34.00. Actual price when I went down to ups was $87.71!!!! Needless to say I was pissed! The worker said she understood and was sorry and didnt know why that calculator was even on there. She said she got complaints all the time from customers about it. Aparently they arent worried about it enough to fix the problem!!! So heads up to all my Buell friends! | |

| Well UPS stores have high mark ups. If you can't go directly to UPS, go to a staples or office depot. Also, size matters. There are certain numbers you can't go over. Example. a 18x18x11 box will cost about $18. But a 18x18x12 box will cost about $40!! To sum it up, UPS is lame. | |
