I am making some frame sliders since I dont want to pay for the over priced production ones. So here it goes. I am havein the center rod machined to fit into the axle and will be machining the end caps. I am going to sell them for $80 for both front and back together shipped (figure $140 plus shipping for anything equal on the market) I am offering a spike or a barrell made from steel or a spike made from aluminum or steel. I figure the steel will give more protection and you can paint it your color of choice, but the aluminum will look better polished.
I am going to make up a set of both this week and will post pictures. I know you guys want quality and so do I. But if you are interested just post on here that you are and I can see if you are all interested at all. Another thing is I havent seen if the forum has a problem with me doing this so if they do I will let you know. But I figure the product isnt out there for a reasonable cost so I will do it.
Brandon
here is what the aluminum spike will look like. I have to make the steel spikes and barrells yet.
