Fitment - 02-08 XB9R,XB9S / 04-08 XB12R,XB12S / 05-08 XB9SX Jardine RT-One Aluminum Slip-On Muffler I have one laying around.  Need to make it disappear.  Brand new.  Just opened to make sure all was in order.  Everything still there.  No dents, dings, or scratches. YOU WILL NEED TO UPGRADE YOUR ECM/MAPPING IN SOME WAY (Race ECM, Dobeck Techlusion, DirectLink Re-map etc...) Retails at $335.95 Selling for $240 plus shipping Let me know Cashier's Check or Money Order.  I don't like to do Paypal, but if you have to send it that way, I will for a little extra.

Seriously...just like manuals, people complain about paying so much and I put one on here for cheap and nobody even shows interest......

It could also be due to the fact that they might have to do something else to the ecm as well... What would be the cheapest thing they could so everything runs like it should? It isn't a bad deal, but I already have the slip-on

Probably a Dobeck Techlusion. Guys do run them without a tuner,  I just don't recommend doing it that way.  Its not the best way to do things.  To each their own.

I would love to get it but can't afford it right now.  Maybe if you wanted to trade for the factory race pipe I would do it.  I know that would never happen!!!  I might just got Jardine at some point but I want the carbon one.

I have a pipe already...but a shop manual I need.  Is that what you have, or is it the basic one you get when you buy the bike?

Well first off, what is the year and model of your bike? Which tuning system do you like the most? Dobeck?  US $210 Remus? UK £191.49 (I can't order this one for you, just for reference) Race ECM?  US $254.00

Sorry mate, Should've tendered that info first off. I have a new '07 xb9sx with now around 2500 km on the clock-although it was bought new it is actually a japanese domestic version which apparently has an even more restrictive pipe than our Au/NZ factory ones.(see pic-not to mention it's UGLY!) Open to your guidance/experience on tuning systems- have always been on i4's with power commanders! I have yet to do the recommended k&n & catch can mod so this will feature shortly also. May I ask how essential an ecm change is with the Jardine? Regards, Gav

Its not needed but I do recommend it.  It will be running on the lean side if you don't use one and it will cause it top pop on decel and hiccup at stoplights when you go to take off from time to time. To tell you the truth, its best to get you stock ECM re-mapped, but I don't know if that is possible for you over there.  Dobecks and Race ECM's work great.  The ECM would be the easiest because all you do is plug it in and reset the TPS and you are set.  The Dobeck you need to set up and tune some.  Just let me know what you want to do.  I will help out in any way that I can.  I can ship you an open airbox mod too if you would like.

No, there is a different reset procedure.  Its posted on here somewhere.

Cheers for the info guys, OK Bpg- if I could grab a breakdown on prices shipped for the Jardine only at this stage, I have found a K&N supplier here which will save me on shipping costs, but am also intersted in a recommended catch can setup also pending price and shipping.
