WTB 08+ Uly (MD,WV,VA,PA,NJ)

Hello all,
Looking to buy any (good deal) (preferably 08+ for heated grips and refinements) with less than 15 (preferably 10k, close to stock) by (June/July) for MotoGP August road trip. NO RUSH. I work and take classes but Call or Text

Not my first bike ---- R6, Sportster and Rebel, dad's got a Touring Harley (retired, imagine that)

Needs to have the bags! MD, VA, WV, NJ, PA area only. 250-300 mile radius around DC/Baltimore witll be considered. NEEDS to be in decent shape. I'm not mechanically challenged, I perform my own maintenance.

I'm still looking if anyone wants to just dump their Uly for some cash or whatever reasons. I had 3 of these this year and kept all 3, I'll buy more as I have the room to store them. I put 20k on them this year... not counting my track days on sport bikes or job as bus driving & personal car driving.

Hey UMDterp13, I have an 09' XB12X I'm looking to let go. Blue, with the 3x Journey case set up. only mod is a right side scoop. Stock, Just turned over 6k miles. NW Florida, near Pensacola. Unfortunately, I'm still paying on it so I can sell for $5600. I've been trying to get a heat issue figured out but with no luck. It hesitates and stutters when it gets hot but runs and rides fine besides that issue. Its had the ECM replaced due to a broken connector from hitting the seat pan, Crank position sensor and some other minor parts all covered under warranty. But still can seem to figure out what the deal is. The last time I brought in in to the dealer they charged me $50 to do nothing to it and looked at me like i was crazy. This after i told them 20 times that it has to be HOT. They just say drop it off and they'll get to in a few days. The last time they replaced my seat pan with some hack job, but the seat itself is fine, just ugly underneath. One of the last times i trucked it home I had to unload it myself and laid it over breaking the left riders peg. So I went shade tree and just pulled the passenger peg from the back an put it on. Ghetto, I know but the wife wont ride anymore due to the highway we live on being nicknamed "bloody 98". Let me know if you're interested. Thanks, Pete

I'm sorry UlyPete, I'm not interested in going that far for a Uly right now. cant believe you are having so much trouble with an 09 Uly. I heard great things about 08+ models but never kept one more than 2 months. I kept my 06 for almost a year now and put 10k miles trouble free.

PS: I'm still looking for cheaper buells.
I bought a Uly last weekend. Uly #3 for me. another 2006 with lower mileage.
