Does anyone know where I can find a race ecm for my lightning? OR Does anyone offer a service to remap my ECM with a preloaded setup or something.  I have just ordered the Jardine and K&N and thought I'll just pick up a Race ECM if it runs rough.  Well apparently they are obsolete, and my local HD-Buell dealerships IN WISCONSIN don't know anything about this.  Please help because I want the sound and don't want to fry my motor.  Thanks!  Otherwise I'll have to keep checking salvage yards or by it off someone who is selling their bike.

Just get yours re-mapped.  It will be pretty tough finding a Race ECM for that one.  Try www.americansportbike.com

It seems like they are all gone.  I have one in my 9R that I am debating selling with the race pipe as a combo so I can upgrade to a custom map and D&D Pipe but I am unsure if I want to blow the money right now.

I would love to get it remapped.  But the HD-Buell dealer does not know anything about it when I question them.  They just tell me to buy the chip and get a TPS reset.  Are you saying american sportbike will do the remap?  I will try them.  Man this a pain in the ass to get a pipe on a bike.  I suppose the ECMspy thing isn't an option for me since i don't know the first thing about motors.  I just want the sound.

No, I was saying trying ASB to try and find a Race ECM.  No guarrantees though.

im also looking for one for an 03 xb9s, and the harley dealer wants like $180 for parts & $150 for the dyno, plus labor to remap the stock.... i might as well buy a whole new bike since a remap is gonna cost me like 500 bucks!
