Has anyone had any experience with this mod to the ecm.  I called the Dealer here in New Berlin, Wisconsin (Hal's H-D) and they said they new exactly what to do to tune my '03 xb9s with Jardine and K&N.  They said they helped develop it. It basically piggy backs the existing ecm they said.  It will also require 1 hour dyno time for a total of $290.  Since I can't find a race ecm this looks like my best option.  Just let me know if anyone's heard of this or used it.  Thanks

Never heard of it but I am interested.  Fill us in if you go for it.

I don't think they are using a Daytona Twin Tec System.  The system alone costs $875 and its for Harleys.  You might want to ask them what they are really using.  If they are using that set up, I would be interested in how....

If you are interested in getting a race ecm for your '03 XB9, check with IronMachine.com...they still have them.

Yeah, I knew that was available, but I thought he was talking about Twin Tec TCFI III, not the Twin Tuner.  Sorry, used to Harley shit when it comes to that.  My bad...

Question of the day:  Would you prefer to go with the race ecm ($250) plug and play option.  Or should I go with the $200 Daytona Twin Tec with 1 hour of Dyno time for $290.  Requires me transporting the bike 1 hour back and forth (not a big deal).  Again I'll be putting on the aluminum Jardine w/ K&N Air Filter.

Me personally, I would re-map your stock ECM.  More adjustability that way.  More exact tune. I've never dealt with that Twin Tec set up.

I don't see anything wrong with using that if that dealer can't remap your stock ECM but they should easily be able to do that on the dyno without the piggy back computer.  It is just like a Remus Powerizer/Power Commander/Etc.  They do help and it will make your bike better for sure.
