this may be a stupid question but, does the air box cover for the lightning fit on the firebolt? i want to put the tranparent blue one ant paint my bike to match.

I'm not sure if they match, but...what color is your airbox on your firebolt? If they do swap out would you be interested in a trade?

They will swap and bolt right on.  Only difference is the colors.

Wow i didnt know that. I might think about a change out to the trans blue also. Imma do some photoshop work and get back to ya guys. Maybe u want white/blue plastics Fido

I dont yet, my shorty is coming over today and bringing her digi cam so ill take a couple. Its the arctic white/blue 08 XB12R. Looks completly stock no scuffs/scratches so u could get a pic off the buell website. Edit: not sure how it would go with your black wheels. The buell tagged on the airbox cover is the blue also

mine is currenlty yellow. i want to keep my current set the seat cowl i got signed by bubba blackwell.

Hey Thaloc, thinking I'll wait to change out my airbox, just found out my wife is going to let me get a new bike next year. YAY 2 new bikes in 2 years, I love my wife!!! LOL, anyways, I really want red I think and if I get a new bike it will either be an 1125CR or 12scg.

Sweet man! Thats awesome, I wish I could convince myself I "need" 2 bikes. But Im really thinking about that RC8, should be between $15-$20k ppl are estimating. AND!!! 440lbs with a full tank of gas! Thats HALF what my Firebolt weighs. I love riding man imma just quit my job and get sponsored =P

Hey, Thaloc, what year is your firebolt? Dry weight for 03-08 is roughly 395lbs... so less than the RC8 with fluids included.
