nothing worse than ordering up what you "think" will work or what you've been told will work. it's simple:
measure the width of your existing belt and count the teeth. takes 5 minutes and precludes ordering up the wrong belt.

All XB's past 03 (except 'long' models) use a 1 1/8" (1.125) wide belt with a 14mm pitch and 128 teeth.
Little known fact: it's the same belt used on a 91(?) to 03 Sportster. So any dealer that tells you they can't get a belt for a Buell XB is either ignorant (most likely) or lying because they don't want to deal with Buells (could happen but is unlikely).

I ran into exactly this from the local Harley dealer. "The belt is no longer available". Bull****. Drag Spacialties stocks a BDL (Belt Drive Limited) belt. BDL 1/18 128 is the number you're looking for. like Captain Chaos said 1/18 wide 14mm pitch 128 teeth. I ordered mine from Parts Canada, had it in under 48 hours $180 Canadian. Good luck.
