I just traded into another Firebolt and, as much as I love these bikes, I'm not sure I can do the whole "racer" seating position anymore. Lol, yeah, I'm not in my 20s/30s anymore.

The Lever bolts directly to the upper shaft and faces down and backwards to your foot. when you go up or down with your foot it acts directly on the shift shaft and changes the gear.

Absolutely and thanks for bringing it up, If you're interested try swaping your swap linkage first and if you like it the billit piece looks WAY tricker.

Correct. alot of track guys love the reverse shift pattern but I ride more than one bike on the street so In order to keep from killing myself I want them all to shift the same way.

Yep. just pull off the stock lever and linkage and slap this one on. Takes about 2 minutes to change the lever but about 2 days to get used to the reverse shift pattern:D

I have a Billit Reverse shift lever for Buell XB series bikes. Replaces the stock lever and linkage and converts to GP style shift pattern. Small scuff on the tip but otherwise in good condition....

Anyone interested in a set of Pingel Bolt-on ChromeMoly Wheelie bars? Great condition (only used for 4 or 5 passes) will fit XB series Firebolt or Lightning. Includes the adjustable rear strut.
