This is easy, order a set of 7 degree crossroad bars.

This is far from the truth, a 9 will lift the front end all the same as the 12 its just in a different rpm range and requires some experience/confidence.

Should lift easy in 1st gear as well, just run it up to 3-4k rpm, let off quickly and slam the throttle again, your suspension rebound should lift the bike easily just be careful, first gear is less...

I just did that swap on one of my bike's. You will also need a lightning wiring hareness or a engineering degree to get all the junk from the firebolt fairing to fit behind the lightning windscreen....
