I recently bought an 06 uly. My fan stays on after I shut it off. Did buell issue updated ecm settings to do away with it? Should I flash it to an updated version? Also, do you know of a thread that explains how to build your own Bluetooth receiver for the bikes ecm?

under certain temps and conditions completely normal.

Did buell issue updated ecm settings to do away with it?
no TSB issued specifically for this.

Should I flash it to an updated version?
    no

do you know of a thread that explains how to build your own Bluetooth receiver for the bikes ecm?
no.....but i'm tech challenged and could care less about ecm gizmos, data-logging, coefficients of parameter installation anagrams and other assorted jibberish. if my buells run nicely and reliably that's all i care about.

Try doing a little google searching and you'll find a bunch of how to/instruction threads.
Honestly, for around $65 you can order one and skip all the BS of ordering multiple parts from multiple suppliers. You might spend $20 to $25 dollars more than IF you build your own, however, you'll receive a product that's ready to go. If it isn't you can return it and or receive trouble shooting instruction direct from the individual supply the Bluetooth dongle.
    I know AZmidget supplies them.
And I've never read a single negative thread about his product or customer service.
