ya it suks one week in and layed her down :(, was tunning bike and following an old boy down a road i never been on very hard curves up and down and lots of them came around a very sharp one to wide for me to take tried to slow down not enough time, went straight for ditch luckly far side of ditch was really tall caught channel in bottom of ditch road it for a few feet then she feel over on me broke my mirror and a bunch of shiat stuck in bike, i suffered some road rash on arm and took a chunk out of my finger , didnt have my gloves on and my icon armour vest on back order, i know what i did wrong ill try not to repeat it it gave me a new respect for the bike and to know my limits thanks all

Ummm, looking at the thread title: the crash is not really a goal.

You could have learned all that by reading other posts.

Oh, well, any crash you can walk away from is a good one.

There are 2 kinds of riders: those who have crashed, and those who have not crashed yet... luckly I am still in the latter.

Pick up the book Proficient Motorcycling by David Hough. One of the chapters covers following others and another on how to enter and exit corners and apexes in the twistys. It has so much good material even for experienced riders. It is a very good read and I really enjoyed it.

Man, that sucks. Haven't dropped mine yet but I'm always nervous about taking those sharp curves too fast and overshooting the turn. Glad to hear you're ok and not hurt worse. Best crashes are ones you can walk away from.
