Look in the Service manuals at the top of the page. I have to replace mine very very soon and was told it was in there? If you do it and take pics and do it step by step that would be a very good thread??
Hey guys, Im new to the forum.
I have an 03 firebolt xb9r and my fuel pump is gone. I do alot of work myself on other bikes but not buells.
Just wondering if it is a task that I can easily handle or should I bite the bullet and take it to the dealers?

If you do an exceptional job we'll sticky it for everyone, for future reference.
I think if you do a youtube search its on there...or maybe i saw in in the 150 quick link section. Doesnt look at that bad. Hell of a lot better than any cage.
Its pretty easy to remove, the worst part (or longest part) is draining the gas without making a mess, I siphoned out as much as possible and then "loosened" the drain plug and let the gas dribble out, I took aluminum foil and made a trough for the gas to flow down into a catch pan.. here is link from "another" Buell site. 2-3 hours if you are taking your time...
