Thread: how to replace rider pegs...the easy way with pictures

    the last couple of weeks i've noticed posts about people having problems with replacing there rider pegs.
    so im doing a quick write up. it should take you longer to read this post then to actually replace your peg.

    a buddy of mine was hit by a car on his bike and was nice enough to let me use it as a demo.



    pull e-clip and tap the pin out. i like to use a 1/4 inch punch, but a phillips screw will work

    then reusing the same spring. but the spring in the new peg



    slide the peg in the slot and make sure the spring is touching the casing on the rider rear set



    then slide the peg pin in the hole to hold the peg in place.



    using your thumb to put pressure on the spring fold the peg back



    while holding the peg back and your thumb on the spring use your trustee persuader (hammer) and tap the pin in



    put e-clip back on and then your done...
