Hm, i didnt have this problem when I did mine... Can you unbolt the throttle body from the point your at? And yes you need to get all of the sensor wires free.
Hey all. Following the instructions on here and cannot get the tps sensor wire free without taking if the tps sensor. The wire runs under the sensor and the connector is un clipped but I cannot squeeze it between the sensor and rocker. 08 xb12s...
I was going to remove the tps sensor but there's no possible way to get to the bottom bolt on it..to close to rocker to back it out.
To rotate, does that wire need to be free??

I just unscrew the two fasteners holding the tps in.
I cannot get to the bottom bolt on the sensor, it's got about 1/8" between it and the rocker
You are ok. Move the tps out as you back out the bolt. By the time the bolt is out everything will come with it.
Huh?? I cannot get a 7mm wrench on that lower bolt...that's my issue. How do I get that bottom bolt out?
Manual says to remove throttle body...noooooooo.
Theres gotta be another way.
Got it!! pushed the harness down until the exposed wires near the connector slide through the gap....
tomorrow i rotate to change rocker seals. Then thendreaded fan replacement
If anyone needs a pdf 2008 manual, let me know..just downloaded one.
