Are you sure it is for a Lightning, if you look at the headlight pods I think it is mounted on a XT or a Uly and I don,t think they are the same, Looks interesting though, if it were less expensive and made of fiberglass so it could be painted to match your bike would be nice.Keep us posted on how it goes
I double checked, it is on a lightning... yeah, we're all hoping for an affordable FRP version.. if they wanted to move a few units, they'd produce one.. that carbon fiber version at 400+ is just way too pricey!
okay fellas...here's an update on these bikini cowls, contacted the original poster from Badweb in Japan, he just replied and asked if we'd be interested in the carbon or FRP version (fiber-reinforced plastic) so I said FRP, cause of the $400 price tag. I asked if they would give a discounted price if we ordered 10 or more, he's going to get back to me asap. Here's another look at it:
Looks like the conversion comes out to be $239.36 at the current rate, but maybe cheaper if we can get a discounted rate for bulk buy, fingers crossed.
