That looks really clean compared to my stock Ss... I think I'll tackle this project myself too. Thanks a lot!

Also, where can I get a front end "gas mask" like that?

It's an Avon gas mask that can be found on Ebay. About 1/2 down this thread page, Typeone who had the same, talks about fitment on his bike and gives a brief explanation: '05 Buell XB12S

    Edit: It's after Polo's posts.

So is there anything that you would do differently a second time to make it go smoother, etc.? I just purchased a set of s rails and the under tray and a crumby seat that i can use the pan to fiberglass a fighter seat on. I already have subframe spacers that will fill the gap and hopefully the covers will line up. Did you have any difficulties fitting everything under the seat?

Sorry boltt01, I haven't looked at this thread for a while. The only problem/setback I ran into was the seat release cable. The S cable is about 4" longer than the Ss so I had to order one. As for fitting everything under the seat it requires you to get a little creative, but everything I did was mentioned above. Hope that helps and sorry it took a month to get back to you

    Post pic's when done

Bike looks great, plus that right side scoop looks ****ing cool, it really beefs up the bikes chest.. Tight ass seat. Why did you go white with the headers? Does it keep them cooler or something?
