    Brake fluid

The PO of my 1125R used Motul RBF600 DoT 4 brake fluid for the brakes and the clutch. I am getting ready to replace the brakes pads front and rear and thought that I would go ahead and flush the systems and refill. Motul is not available locally in SW Ohio. I can get it over the web but was curious if anyone is using Amsoils 600 series synthetic DoT4 brake fluid.

I ordered the Motul online just to get it. Amsoil didn't have anything comparable at the time and the Motul was recommended by numerous race guys I know. Way overkill for what I'd been doing up to that point, but it was worth it to me for peace of mind.

went online to the Motul website. Now they have a RBF660 Dot 4 that's rated even higher boiling point. Yes, probably way overkill, but like you said, peace of mind. Unless some one kicks in with something bad about the amsoil, I may try it. My local Amsoil dealer knows me by name now. LOL. Use it in everything now.
