    Sensitive Throttle

From a standing start or at slow speeds my throttle seems very sensitive. The bike once spit me off starting from a standing start on a gravel road because I couldn't control the throttle the way I should. Is this characteristic of an '06 Lightning Ss or is there something that can be done to smooth out delivery?

    I would do a TPS re-set. It's free

Assuming the bike runs right otherwise. They're torquey enough you could just slowly release the clutch with no throttle input.
