    Exhaust question.... stock vs. race

Hi all! Im new to the group and to the bikes and have just been reading up on all the different possible modifications I can do to the bike and was wondering what (if any) are the visual differences are there on a race exhaust compared to stock?? The exhaust on my '03 xb9r has a dual outlet and some others ive seen are only a single. Sorry for the newb question and thanks in advance for your help!!! -Dan

The Buell race exhaust has a dual outlet, but so does Hawk, Spec-Ops, Micron, and perhaps some others. The Buell stock exhaust has a single outlet. If you post a pic we can chime-in on exactly what you have.

The dual outlets come out in differnt spots, on the different mufflers, that is usually the easiest way to idenity the muffler.
Or type in each brand and do a search.
