Buell 1125R/1125CR Gauge Voltmeter no good!
So after installing a new VR (SH847), I kept an eye on the voltmeter since installing and noticed that the voltage output was incredibly high, as much as 15.1V at one point in time. Today, I decided to attach two multimeters to the battery terminals at the same time and compare the readings to the gauge cluster - no comparison at all. Immediately after start, the cluster read 13V, while the DMM's hit a stead 14.45ish Volts. During the next minute or so, the voltage on the cluster rose up to ~14.7,14.8V - once again, DMM's read 14.45ish.
In short, only trust the cluster to make sure the VR is still working, but not for an actual reading of battery voltage!

Out it in diagnostic mode and watch voltage. Thatll give you some different readings
