Sena 20s here as well, excellent noise cancellation, audio is crisp and clear. Even with my exhaust on every bike I have, it's more than enough, I usually run at 1/2 volume or maybe a little more if I'm really jamming. Wife can't tell what I'm doing while riding at speed until I'm up over 90 mph.

All great suggestions guys, thank you!

It's for the Los Angeles to Pikes Peak ride so nav, comms, and good tunes are a must. We won't be doing any highway if possible
Just did a 12 hour test ride with nothing but hairpins and mountain passes, 400 miles of EPIC riding!!

I'm looking at both the Sena's, and if the nicer one can be heard over Deans pipe that's perfect!

I use the sena 20s with 30 decibal custom ear plugs in (for wind noise). With the volume turned all the way up, I hear it nicely through the plugs and no wind noise to bother me.

Got a Sena 20s dual pack for me and my buddy. Now all I need is to learn how to use it!

Make sure you download the users guide onto your phone before you leave. Good choice and good luck.

Cooter, just a thought, consider getting a Ram X-Grip to hold your phone. I found it very useful while displaying the GPS map, also, you'll hear in your headset when you get emails and text messages. You can glance down and see if it's important enough to pull over and respond to the message.
On Ulys you can also charge it while on the fly since the electrical plug is right there and running a wire to it is a snap.

Thanks jl551c. The bike came with that mount already
I got the Sena20s tonight and after an easy install I started to learn the myriad of functions. Wow. There's a lot.

I've already downloaded the app, and got the Bluetooth connected, and got it linked with the other 2 riders.

I can't turn down the voice overlay and it's LOUD.

and when my music is playing, I get disconnected from the comms.

I'll search more in the morning. Only had a little time to mess with it

Did you download the latest upgrades on the Sena website? Also, I had a problem once syncing up, (turns out it was my error), so I called the Sena support phone number and they were very helpful. Don't hesitate to call them for help.
