No packing and did my inside different than the hawk. Packing is a pain in the a-s. I want to ride the bike not spend time packing an exhaust. Think it sounds just as good as the ones that are packed. Mine has a deep tone to it like banging on a base drum.

Guess someone is doing it wrong then. Mine average 5+ years on repacks easily. The few that I've checked didn't need it done.

Don't think so. Some packing last longer than others. I just didn't what to use packing and be bothered with it. You like it. I don't. I obviously ride more than you.

You may ride more than I do, I don't have time to. My track testers tell me the **** lasts though.

I too find it all informative. Much like the post I just read about wheel bearings. Good stuff. 👍🔩🔧

    Look up keada designs.
Dean Adams (d_adams) manufactures Buell exhausts. They're not cheap. And I mean that as in Quality and price. They are the best money can buy for a Buell for both performance and quality.
    I'm penny pinching for one!
