Uly wont start

New member here.

My '06 has sat for almost 5 years (inside) because of deployment and recovery from an injury.

New battery and a gallon or so of fresh gas, the engine cranks but wont start. I pulled the air cleaner and it will start and run for a few seconds on ether spray, but dies right away. I can hear the fuel pump pressurize and smell gas.

Any help would be appreciated?

still sounds like fuel isn't getting into the cylinders. 5 year old gas in the lines will clog injectors fast. Since you didn't clean them before you tried to start it, Id take it apart and flush the lines and clean the injectors now. Check the fuel pressure with an actual gauge as well.

And change the plugs for sure.

Possibly use some recommended injector cleaner, does it run smooth on the spray, possible timing issue?
