I hate sitting in front of a computer. So I'm at the mercy of my iPhone when it comes to posting pictures.
Thanks for the encouraging words Tone.
I'm going to try color matching it with the sun fire yellow when I'm done laying glass and sanding.

Look up some cafe race fiberglass tail section how to videos. You can find the fiberglass kits at Walmart or most any auto parts store. Just use your seat as the mold/plug for the fiberglass. The tricky part will be covering/masking your seat so that you don't mess it up with fiberglass resin.
It's not as hard as it looks.

Well done mate thank you for the advice/link! I have a fibreglass kit but have never done anything in fibreglass yet! I wouldnt have thought of doing a foam mould first and i didnt know how to release it from the mould without damaging anything, but i do now!! Cheers mate!!

    Some updates. If anyone cares...
    Started laying glass
    image.jpg
Cut a little too much off and had to lay some more
    image.jpg
Bought a rizoma rear res to free up some tail section space. Mounting this outside the tail section required a custom bracket
    image.jpg
Once I was fairly happy with the bracket I mounted it in between the rear set and the master cylinder
    image.jpg
Not perfect but I think it tucks everything away nicely
