broken exhaust stud, long story short the guy who was fixing it couldnt get it out, and the machine shops here in town want over $300 to get it out and rethread the hole....can get a new one from the hd dealership here for 325...so i didnt see the point in fixing an old one if i can get a new one for that price....was just hoping someone here would have a good one cheaper than that before i ordered one monday

My local craigslist has some listed.

    Any pics of the damage?

dont have any onhand...but it definitely has to be rethreaded. ive checked ebay but no front heads, just whole motors. didnt find any on craigslist either....almost considered the 1250cc upgrade but then realized it didnt come with heads, just jugs and pistons and such

Where are you located? I know of a stash of good engine parts in So. FL.
