    Upgraded

Well, since I crashed my 08 XB12SCG, and had some cash burning a hole in my pocket. I bought an old friends 09 XB12SCG, this is probably the bike that got me into Buells. Needs a bit of work, had a broken header stud that he tried to fix and broke a tap off in. In turn the broken stud broke the header. Has a couple leaks here and there, so resealing just about the entire engine, since the head is going to have to go to a machine shop anyways. Should be just like new once I'm done with it. Then I can start putting my touch on it.

    That's awesome!
So glad to see you're back to your old self!
Also happy to know that idiot that took you out didn't ruin your love of motorcycling.
You think getting back in the saddle will be unnerving or have you already been back?
    Good luck man!

Oh and i hope I don't come off as an insensitive Ahole when I ask this question.... ......if you decide to sell the ZTL2 brake set up off your old bike, can I call dibs?
Is it too soon for that?

I really admire your work ethic! Have to be a true buell lover to put that much work in on your bikes! You are a better man than i!

Not too soon, and not the first to ask! Although, my current plan is to either keep the old bike for spare parts, or eventually rebuild it.

I did take it for a test ride, was nervous one bit about it. I think not remembering the accident is what saved me from that.

Cowboys don't quit riding when they get bucked. Get back on that horse, its a dandy. BTW if my wife ever gets sick of my fascination with buying and selling gas powered cool stuff I'll just live in you sweet ass garage!

She told me in the hospital that I had to buy a new bike, since she just bought hers and needs someone to ride with
