Slightly off topic, but looking at the motor, how hard would it be to paint or powdercoat the metal oil lines? Good idea? Bad?

Lookin' good! My parts came back from powder as well.

I'm considering pulling the frame/tank and sending it and the swingarm to powdercoat as well. At that time, I was considering pulling the heads and at the very least just doing a top end inspection. I think my lifters are getting a bit noisy. Normally, I wouldnt notice, but my Sportster has so much less engine noise!

Anyhow, keep up the great work!!!

You could not powder coat it because of the rubber section. But no reason you can paint them. Just use good quality paint

I painted my lines, it turned out pretty sweet! I just used "automotive" quality spray paint form a parts store. just make sure you do a really nice job cleaning and prepping the metal.
