    outstanding recall capabilities on your part jay and thanks for having my 6 on this. you'd be extremely fond of steve(dobe1) if you ever met him just as i am....but i'm now convinced he is NOT from New Zealand but from Wales in the UK. they are all Welchers if you know what i mean.

    LF, are you sure they use the same rear pads? I remember my 1125CR had a Hayes brake and took what looked to be an oversized mountain bike brake pad. My XB's have all had that familiar Nissin style brake and pads.

    Correct me if I'm wrong, but I remembered that from my short while I had the CR. Maybe that used a different rear brake than the R? Once again, not knocking you, and if you read any of my posts it's obvious I'm as n00b as it gets.

    as per ebc:
    1125's from 7-8-2007 thru 9-17-2007 shows #140 series for HH pads
    1125's after that date thru end of production shows #460 for HH pads
