    Miserable Ully

    Bike really ill.
Finally found a fuel pressure gauge.
only 1.1 bar (15 odd psi)arriving at the injector rail.
    Is this a common issue?
    Most likely culprit?

pump and or fuel pressure regulator shot.
standard pressure at the injectors same as automotive world...48psi-51psi the norm. tons of threads on here regarding pump replacement as well as cross-over units from the automotive world at reasonable prices including procedures for same. the pressure regulator can be tedious and pricey from dealerships..........SO........here are cross-overs that actually work from the automotive world as well.

The only thing that bear is missing is a pair of "action pants"

Hey guys, Johanv is a local South African rider like me. Actually stays a few kms from me. Finding sea foam or US parts are always tricky. But I'm sure he'll get it sorted.

Thanks.Found a local replacement cheapy at ZAR 300 and a Bosch version at ZAR 500.Turned out that the two seals on the ends of the fuel filter was split.Used a piece of rubber fuel line and ground slight taper on the outer ends of the pieces of hose. Worked beautifully for two weeks and then the fuel pump actually did pass away quietly.New pump fitted and going like it should once again.
    Thanks for the info.
