I've never heard of a shock extension? A regular XBS shock will raise it, but I wouldn't even think of doing that without also extending or swapping the forks too.
Hey guys! Just wondering if anyone has put the rear shock extension on? I'm tall and I was thinking this would help.
2010 xb12scg.

+1 I'm sure you can get a regular s model rear shock (blue spring), kickstand and fork and raise it up. then sell your stock scg stuff, people always wanna buy them.
The shock extension is used when adding a Ss/Uly swingarm to a S model, not for lifting the rear end. If it was me I wouldn't do anything to your 2010!

Correct, only for use with the longer swing arm. Get a standard height shock, they came with a blue spring. Be sure to also raise the front with the standard height forks too.
Chase lantern, you have a PM !
Lol understood. That's a nono. Thanks guys for the info. I'll definitely just keep as is. AZ midget91 and cooter you guys rock!
Chase, if you would be interested in selling your SCG to buy one of the taller models, I might be interested. Feel free to shoot me a PM if you're thinking of it.
