It's a modified stock exhaust. I have one on my Firebolt and love it.
My 06 Buell XB12Ss came with a Drummer exhaust and I am very pleased with the sound and the company that put together my jugs/pistons/cams/heads/etc. package likes the properties and matched the setup to it. The only objection I have is that it weights a ton compared to a custom stainless setup. So, I may or may not keep it long term if I can find a setup that weighs less and has the same flow. But, I am curious exactly what this thing is, it looks like an OEM part rather than an aftermarket part. It has the mount points for the variable exhaust and very OEM looking brackets. Are these just modified exhuasts or did they buy the casings from Buell, or something else?

One plus is that the mechanics like them because of the jack points. They have hassled me about my jardine, because they have to remove it to jack the bike up.
Ah, thanks for the background on it. Even if I swap to something lighter its a keeper.
I have the Jardine and am looking at the Drummer now (for a couple of reasons).

Just one of the most genuine and knowledgeable gentlemen in this field. It was a pleasure getting to meet him about 18 months ago.
