    Oil leak from stator wires

I just noticed I had some drops of oil below the primary case, and pin pointed it to where the stator wires come out of the left side engine case. Has anyone had this issue? I'll start calling around for the replacement gasket/seal. Any tips or tricks would be greatly appreciated!

I had this issue. I drained the primary oil, opened primary case, pulled out the stator rubber grommet from the hole, thoroughly cleaned the stator rubber grommet and area around the grommet hole inside and outside with brake cleaner, applied some Loctite RTV 598 Black silicone on the grommet, stick it back in the hole, let it seat for full cure and assembled the primary case back and filled with oil. No leak at all anymore from the stator wires grommet.

Be careful with cleaner, you don't want to spray cleaner on the stator windings because it can dilute the wires clearcoat and stator windings can be shorted.
