    Front brake maintenance

Is this advice (from archives) reasonable? And how much wear is too much on the rotor disc?

"Change the pads for decent sintered, aftermarket instead of the stock pads.
Stock pads leave a deposit on the disc that eventually builds up to the point of feeling like it is a warped disc or worn hardware (this can happen even on small mileage bikes).
Clean the disc with scotchbrite pad and brake cleaner, then fit decent pads (Braking, EBC, Lyndall etc). You will feel the difference.

That info is not clear. Lunatic can get you the HH pads that work very well on these bikes.

I think the EBR bolt kit is worth it, but the link had the info you need to know how to bed in new pads.
