    Oil plugs thread sealant https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

You can reuse gaskets on primarily cover openings, just clean them with alcohol or with brake cleaner thoroughly before installation. I reused mine primary gaskets three times already, no leaks at all.

This is minimal set of specific parts you will need to change oil. But if you want to go really fancy or if you don't have any tools at all you'll need oil pan, some aluminum foil, rubber gloves, rear and front motorcycle stands, paper towels, alcohol, safety wire and safety wire pliers to secure the oil filter, torque wrench to attach chin fairing and primary covers fasteners back with appropriate torque, set of imperial wrenches, set of torx screwdrivers, maybe some socket adapters for wrenches. All this stuff you can buy on Amazon. If you don't want to buy whole set of wrenches and torx screwdrivers you can measure the tool sizes you will need to change the oil and buy necessary wrenches and screwdrivers as single pieces in your local Home Depot store.

Oil and filter can be had from even a WalMart.

Theres a thread for parts interchange for those and other items. It's a Sticky.

It's very hard to beat the $$ at Amazon & Walmart as T & C said above.

1-have mentioned it on here about 955X now: ALL XB filters the same for all years. ALL interchange with 2007 and up TOYOTA YARIS 1.5L and SCION 1.5L......buy quality. NOT house-brand garbage. be certain to fill new filter with motor oil prior to installation.

2-do NOT use any type of sealant on the threads of either the primary drain plug or the swingarm drain plug. although there is white assembly lube paste on both plugs from the factory as well as reference to "replace sealant on drain plugs" in service manuals i recommend you do NOT use it. replace the plug O-ring if it looks flattened or nicked. it does NOT have to be replaced at every fluid change.

Moto Enthusiasts sells an oil change kit with the seals needed if you would like to change them for piece of mind. Then just use a quality 20w-50 vtwin oil, such as And oil.

    http://motoenthusiasts.bigcartel.com...oil-change-kit

No thread sealant, safety wire, torque wrench, or rubber gloves required...
