    did i mess this up

ok here is what I did.. my check engine light was staying on because of no active muffler control. I opened ecm spy and in the diagostics tab I turned active muffler control to "off", then I cleared the trouble code and after that I hit "burn". my question is, should I have burned ?

check engine light is off so it seems to have worked

thanks Cooter !! one more question: bike is popping a little more around 2000 rpm on decel now and running slightly rougher, is this normal ?

I know there is little info provided so I could screenshot my fuel maps if it would help.

Since all you did was change that one ECM parameter, the fuel maps didn't change. It is running exactly like it did before.

If you need a fuel map that matches your "after market muffler" check Buelltooth.com they might have one for you.

You don't have to hit burn if you are just turning muffler off. You can try to reset your afv to 100 again sometimes it helps a little. You will probably need to burn a race map for your type of exhaust.

You have to 'burn' every change you make. Regardless of what the change is, it needs to be sent to the bikes ECM.
