Long time Buell lover, first time owner.

    Hey Guys,

Just picked up my first Buell last week and thought I'd do a quick intro for my first post. My name is Bruce, I'm 25 and live in beautiful Vermont. The bike is a 2004 XB12S with 19K miles. Paid $2900. Needs a little TLC, but I've been drooling over these bikes for some time now and always knew I'd buy one. I purchased a house recently so I told myself it was time.

I rode a '91 Sportster and had a '73 RD350 project in high school. Been on dirt bikes most of my life too. Also have a '83 FXR project I've been picking at with my dad. More on that later.

Anywhere, here's a few pics of the bike. So far I've installed a set of LED turn signals, cleaned a few things up, and collected a few parts to begin some maintenance.

Awesome buy, and good taste for a young fellow! These bikes are a special thing and choosing to own one is a very deliberate choice. What are your plans for the bike?

I'm not a fan of plasti-dip, but the matte black does look good.

Sure is. It's got some rust, I bought it for a steal from a former boss. He never washed it

Thanks for the love everyone. Good to be on a forum where it seems like i can get some good info with minimal hate, haha.
